Built on 25 years of ingredient research and experience, our formulas give skin a complete diet of essential minerals, vitamins and omega fatty acids from whole plants and the earth, rather than one isolated active. Our plants are ethically sourced, organically grown wherever possible and harvested at peak season. Our cleanser and serum are water-free powders made with botanicals gently cold-dried to protect their potency, then activated with water as you use them, so they're always fresh and need no preservatives. Each formula is made with minimal processing, shipped in small batches and never tested on animals, and every ingredient is listed in full, down to what's inside our natural scent. Since 1999 we have made non-toxic skincare, and what we have learned is simple: even the cleanest synthetic can only imitate what a whole plant already knows how to do. KLEOS+KLEA formulas are built from organic whole plants, mineral-rich clays, and cold-pressed oils, each chosen for the density of nutrients it carries.
We source worldwide and choose each supplier batch by batch, based on that season's climate and growing conditions, so every ingredient arrives at its most potent. Every batch is small, tested three times during manufacturing, and verified against its certificate of analysis before it ever reaches your skin.

Clean Skincare Wasn't Enough For My Own Skin
Tammy Demos has spent more than 25 years in skincare. She was one of the owners of CosMedix in 1999 and went on to co-found Osmosis in 2007, helping build two companies on the promise of non-toxic skincare. Over those years her view changed.
She saw how much of a typical formula is there for everything except the skin. Most products made in a water or cream base can carry only a small percentage of active ingredients. The rest is water, fillers, preservatives, stabilizers and texturizers: the part you pay for but never asked for. Labels and marketing make the actives sound like the whole story, when they're often only a sliver of what's in the bottle. And even “natural” versions of those additives can disrupt the skin's own balance.
KLEOS+KLEA is her answer. She stripped away everything but the whole plants and minerals that feed the skin, grown organically and blended in their most nutrient-dense form. Nothing is there to fill space. Every ingredient is there to work. The results are immediate and cumulative.
